Stellar Edu Consultancy

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how we handle information when you visit our website or contact us for MBBS abroad counselling. You can browse our information without creating an account or submitting admission documents.

Effective date:

1. Who we are

Stellar Edu Consultancy provides information and counselling for students and families considering medical education abroad. This policy covers our website and the information you voluntarily share with us when seeking guidance.

2. Information from website visits

Our website is primarily informational. It currently has no account registration, online payment checkout, document upload or detailed enquiry form. We do not ask you to submit identity documents, academic records or payment card details directly through the website.

Browsing can still involve technical information. Our hosting provider may process your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages and access times to deliver the website, diagnose errors and protect the service.

We do not currently add our own advertising trackers or analytics tools. However, third-party resources used by the website can receive technical information when they load, as described in section 6.

3. Information you choose to share

When you contact us by WhatsApp, Instagram or another contact channel, you may choose to share:

  • Your name, contact details and city.
  • Academic background, NEET status and questions about eligibility.
  • Preferred destinations, budget and intended admission timeline.
  • Other information relevant to the counselling you request.

You decide what to share. We may need certain details to answer a question about your circumstances, but you can ask general questions without sending admission documents.

4. Admission documents

Admission support may later require academic certificates, passport details or other documents. There is no document upload facility on this website. Before sending documents through another channel, verify the Stellar representative and ask why each document is needed and who will receive it.

Share only documents needed for the support you request. Do not send passwords, one-time passwords or payment card security codes.

5. How we use information

We use information you share to respond to enquiries, understand your education preferences, discuss suitable options and provide the counselling or admission support you request. We may also use it to follow up on that discussion and keep relevant correspondence.

We do not sell or rent student or family contact details, and we do not publish private admission documents on this website.

6. Sharing and external services

If you ask us to assist with an application, relevant information may need to be shared with the university or service involved in that application. Ask your counsellor to explain the recipient and purpose before submitting documents. Information may also need to be disclosed where required by law.

The website uses or links to services operated by other organisations:

  • WhatsApp and Instagram: messages and account activity are also handled under those platforms’ privacy policies.
  • YouTube and Google Maps: embedded videos and maps may send technical information to Google when they load or when you interact with them, and may use cookies or similar technologies.
  • Google Fonts: loading our fonts sends a request to Google, which can include your IP address and browser information.
  • University websites: external university links take you to websites with their own information practices.

These providers may process information outside your country. You can review the Google Privacy Policy and WhatsApp Privacy Policy for their practices. We do not control those services.

7. Retention and security

Information shared for counselling or admission support is kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry, provide the requested support and meet applicable record-keeping requirements. The period depends on the information and the stage of your enquiry or application.

You can ask us about information held in our active records or request its removal. External platforms and universities manage their own records and retention periods. No internet service or messaging platform can guarantee complete security.

8. Your choices

You can browse without contacting us, choose what information to share and ask us to stop counselling follow-ups. If you have shared information, you can request access, correction or deletion by contacting us using the details below.

We may need to verify that the request comes from you before acting on it. If a record must be retained for an applicable requirement, we will explain that when responding. Browser settings can also help you manage cookies and third-party content.

9. Younger students

If you are under 18, please involve a parent or guardian before sharing personal information or admission documents with us. Parents and guardians can contact us about information their child has shared.

10. Policy updates

We will update this policy when our information practices change, including if we introduce enquiry forms, analytics, payments or document uploads. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
